In these screen prints we travel into a land of fantasy imagination, explore strange colorful landscapes, and meet characters such as: Duncen the starperson, Ralfie the dragonperson, Cole the plant spirit, Phil the Mail Mage, the Ghosthaunters, and many more. Each print is a frozen moment of one of their adventures for viewers to enjoy and use their imaginations to guess where they will go next or how they got there in the first place.
I also use screen print as a medium to insert myself into these magical worlds and once again explore the thin lines between reality and fantasy.
These multi-media works are experiments in how viewers interact with the strange fantasy lands created. The deep frames create a window or portal for the audience to mentally jump into and explore the action.
In these figurative works I bring the characters of my imagination out of their cartoon fantasy space and into the same dimension as myself, to ask the question; what is more real-fantasy or reality?
In these sculptural works I bring characters from the realm of two dimensional drawings, and prints into the physical realm where they take on a whole new set of characteristics based on material, and interaction with humans.
