About this Work

Every time I watch a scary movie I seem to be checking over my shoulder especially in the bathroom when it's time to brush my teeth. I know that I can't be alone in this.  "Shiny teeth and me" is the title of a silly song from the cartoon Fairly Odd Parents. I loved this show so much as a kid and thought this painting needed a whimsical title since it is about the absurdity of fear.
