About this Work
I painted this in the midst of the BLM movement during the summer of 2020 which got me thinking about inequity in life and the different realities we all face, recognizing privilege and knowing I need to do better. It is a privilege to say goodbye to an old way of life that benefited only those like you and not everyone. We must stand up for everyone and create a world equitable to everyone of all ages, skin colors, sexualities, genders-Everyone.
